Walk from Clarke Quay to Esplanade. This granite structure is located along the Esplanade, it's called the Cenotaph or known as also as 'Our Glorious Dead'. World War II memorial.

We area going to enter The Esplanade Bridge on the left, a good place to take picture of Merlion included in fireworks photos. But this spot is incredibly crowded, no choice then we have to walk further down to the Merlion Park.

Singapore's newest attraction is a ferris wheel called the 'Singapore Eye.' The Singapore Flyer is currently the tallest Ferris wheel in the world.

After long walk and long wait, we almost give up and want to go home but lucky we wait and finally got chance to get inside the Merlion Park. Thousands are to throng the area to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Merlion Park will be popular spots and with huge crowds expected. Saw families with mats and portable chairs here.

The approx 20,000 floating Wishing Spheres are light up. The wishes of Singapore for the coming new year 2010 inked on giant plastic balloons, it released during the New Year Countdown.

After waiting for an hour, 11.45pm 31 Dec 2009 before 2010, everyone start to stand up and cheering.

Happy New Year and Boom! We are standing too close to the fireworks which is not a good spot for photograph.

They were shooting them on three separate building construction opposite The Merlion Park, the fireworks reflection.

I got space shot, it's amazing to me that they can set off fireworks like this.

The stunning fireworks certainly lived up to it.

We were too exciting, the fireworks display is awesome and I forgot to take video.

The performances and the 8 minute fireworks were very impressive. The last booms was big, big until the fireworks can turn the dark sky into day light.

The moment fireworks finish we run and find the way out to the nearest MRT, human jam here and we stuck like about 5 min to get out of the packed.

Was trying to capture some night shots of the city. This was my attempt on The Fullerton Hotel.

After squeeze with so many people, we safe and are inside the Raffles Place MRT, all the MRT extent till 2pm and by the time we go back is about 2pm. Inside the MRT can see everyone is so tired, all the youngster just sit on the floor and rest. Not only them, we also tired.

10.30am we continue our trip and have our breakfast at the nearest hawker place.

I order Cha Siu and Siu yok rice, don't like and no taste at all.

Taking bus from Woodlands to VivoCity, it is a long drive and take about 1 hour plus to reach here. Here we walk walk and saw this colorful design at kids playground which I think is a word.

This is a very cool restaurant called Bosses (Hei Se Hui), but is too expensive for us to have lunch here.

We hunt for food until this Pastamania, eat pizza here! Got classic yellow deliver bike outside the restaurant.

We walk back to beach station and start walking to Palawan beach, from east to west.

Back to beach station and head up to Merlion walk, mosaic walkway lined with colourful mosiac water jets.

When you visit Sentosa, you will see this gigantic lion head and a fish body.

Visitors can take the lift up to the 12th floor of the Merlion statue to view the city.

The Tiger Sky Tower gives you a bird’s eye view of the Singapore Skyline.

We here to watch the Sentosa 4-D Magix – Pirates in 4-D, it is a 3-time winner of the Asian Attractions Award. It’s not Singapore Pools 4-D lottery but an additional sensory experience on top of the 3-D experience. You will not only experience some effects jumps right out of the screen (3-D effects), it also puts you in the thick of action through simulated live effects built in onto your seat (the 4th D) like wind, water. You not only see it but also can feel it.

We are rushing back to beach station to catch up Songs of the Sea show and it is full house.

The show commenced with some happy youngsters dancing and singing English, Chinese, Malay and Indian folk song, then suddenly this girl face pop up, can see the face she really boh song. Hah, this is the vision of a beautiful sleeping girl, the image of princess is projected on waterdrops.

That one is a friendly lion fish, the young man learn that the princess was under the spell of an enchanted village.

Flame bursts culminated with dramatic pyrotechnics.

Reacted with fire and happiness explosion. The show hit among people due to its entertaining music, unique computer images, and outbursts of flames, lasers, water jets and pyrotechnics. Very nice and I don't mind watching it again!

Next we go back to Siloso Beach Party, the place we go in this afternoon is closed and you have to purchase the ticket to enter this party.

Security is kinda serious here and we peeking here for like about 10 min? Just to check out some hot chicks.

Going back with the same way we came here today which is taking ATM back to VivoCity but the queue is terrible man, the ATM is upstairs and these peoples is taking long queue until here, take bus faster. What? We not staying here for the party? We not entering the Siloso Beach Party? We not going to celebrate new year here? Oh no we peek enough here and next we going to Merlion Park.

Got some cheap flights on morning, namely Tiger Airways. Surprisingly is cheaper than Airasia, so I wake up at midnight 3am, reach LCCT at 4.45am, so hungry and have my breakfast at McDonald.

After meet up Johor friend at Woodlands (who is he? later you will know), we settle our place and put down all our bags and start our Singapore trip, the first place to go was Singapore Zoo, taking bus no 927 from Choa Chu Kang to Mandai Lake Rd.

About half an hour we reach the Mandai Lake Rd, can see the big sign of Singapore Zoo and Night Safari is at the same place.

Here we are, outside got three elephants sculpture for tourists to take picture.

It is new year holiday and is school holiday, so many tourists and family with kids was here. We queue up for 40mins just to get the tickets.

Here's our ticket and free vouchers, Zoo and Night Safari cost $32 which save up to $4.

Before we enter the Zoo, start to bite something for lunch first, we eat hot chicks and see hot chicks at KFC.

The Zoo start with Rainforest walk, the first animals to see was Otter.

Next we enter Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, troop of Hamadryas Baboons. They had big red ass and check their red in front.

Next we head to Splash Safari Show, the show is about to start an hour but heavy rain and we have to find cover.

Go into Ah Meng restaurant for drinks and they have Orang Utan photo session.

Back to the Splash Safari Show, this time with the wonderful Californian sea lions.

Love the animals head sign board, you won't get lost with the head and you know where to find the animals with the head.

Zoo's main star attraction, the Polar Bear. This guy is absolutely huge.

Let John tell you how tall is this guy, if he stand up can reach 3.5m height and 1,002kg weight, one smack can chop your head off.

Polar bear got thick layer of body fat to insulate themselves in the cold. But in tropical climate country, the Singapore Zoo polar bears have a thinner coat.

Jelani, a baby white rhino was born on 19th February 2007. I think the baby is already grow up.

When we go inside the Kampung House, this women scare the shit of us. Many wax people doing kampung thingy like watching tv, washing cloth and cooking...

It was a wonderful experience here and we exit the zoo at 5.30pm.

After visiting the Zoo, we continue the fun at the Night Safari which is located just next to the Zoo. Three mins walk to the world’s first wildlife park for night visit, viewing animals at night in an open air zoo concept.

Night safari open at 7.30pm, so we had our lunch at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant.

They have Chinese, Malay, Indian and Western foods here and they even got buffet.

My dinner, Chicken Chop with rice - $17, didn't expect to be very good.

John order Wa tan hor which cost $15, expensive dinner here.

Tribal Dance performance while everyone is having dinner, some warm up for us.

Catch up Creatures of the Night Show at 7.30pm, holiday is full house. Here we could get close to the animals while a nice show in a small amphitheatre took place. No flash photograph allowed during the show, the flash will cause the animals blind.

The highlights were binturongs, raccoons, wolves, hyenas, what you see in the picture is the servals. They are very close to the audience, so when the show start all the gate is closed to avoid the animals run away.

20ft python is drawn from the audience, it is kept under the seats the whole time and make the audience scream! The muscle guy lucky or unlucky to have a python put around his neck.

Here are some otters that are trained to sort garbage into recycling bins that are marked paper, plastic, or tin. It was fun to see otters keep rolling the tin.

After the show we have to queue up for the Tram ride.

Another 45 mins to wait for our turn and we feel like kena cheat because our ticket doesn't include the Tram ride, no way to give up after long queue and we spent another $10 for the ticket.

Here we go again no flash photograph during the ride, this is the best shot I can take for elephant at night. Seeing different kinds of animals outside cages was incredible, 45 minute of tram ride but not all animals you can see if they doesn't stand on the spotlight area. What most incredible is the tour guide can even speak out their name like how the hell he know who is who? We see nothing and he know exactly their location. Well for me the experience at Night Safari, it will be a wonderful experience if you didn't visit Singapore Zoo, seen too much of the same species have no feeling, sien jor.

The Night Safari open daily 7.30pm to 12.00pm. After the tram ride finish at 10.00pm we take bus and go home straight because we are too tired after walking for whole day (me even worst because I just cycling at Taman Pertanian yesterday).
