6 weeks ago since I back from Tokyo, my sense of balance feels off, balance after a trip is limited probably because likely due to neural factors. You’re going to foreign country to experience something different, when you get back home, you might even wonder if you still hallucination because they’re so different from what you experience in your normal life. Anyway, it’s a long way to Tokyo, I had experience Japanese culture and foods, and a ton of fun shooting in Tokyo. One of the most interesting pictures you can take is of people.

A young Japanese kid was ride on toy just few step outside Chisun hotel at Shinagawa.

School students do not wear school uniforms at Akibahara, but they wearing a yellow cap to help motorists spot them easier.

Spooky Cycling

Another late night at the Office, cycling along the corridor and enjoy the world around me. Night video shooting let me do some gif photography, but they’re too large file size for tiny images. So crazy it might work, an attempt to combine two types of photography which is gif animation and Multiple Exposures to create something completely new. Still photo in repeated movement containing many different poses of the same person. Quiet seems quieter, fast faster and strangeness stranger, spooky office cycling.

Yes, it really looks like a mugshot, complete with a white background sorts to show the height and a board held in front of our bodies without the escape number. But we are free to do whatever we want in our escape picture, two set mugshots of the same of us with difference expression to show the freedom.

I’m not very clear at this hour at midnight, tiresome weekend and sleep is much needed right now. So… It’s another one of those times where we have to put a brains to rest and just throw some random pick out, what a time though and filled with tons of memories with friends, excited to say that I have some pretty group shots!

Mount Fuji Jump

Our itinerary plan for last three days is to one of the Japan iconic place which is Mount Fuji (Fujisan). But we have no idea how to get there, so we try to ask the direction from our Hotel Receptionist, I can tell you most of the Japanese people we met were very friendly, overall considerate, and tried to do whatever they could for you to help. They printed out all the possible guide for us to refer, they even help us check the weather at Mt Fuji. So no luck on 23rd and 24th the weather is raining and cloudy, and Sunny possible on 25th which is our last day at Tokyo. So we heading to fujisan at our last day!

On 23rd March raining, we got no where to go, I was hope I can visit two of my favorite Japan brand’s shop, Mastermind Japan and Neighborhood. Since the nearest dealers is at Shibuya, we go back there for a walk and shop of course. We also stop by at Starbucks for coffee, little chat and get to online there.

Food in Japan is expensive because Japan is an expensive country to live in, but we had learned from our travels that it’s not impossible to find affordable food. There are many Japanese Fast-Food chains, and we found Katsuya. Ebi Katsu or Shrimp Katsu for dinner.

On 24th March still raining, we visit the Tokyo International Anime Fair and Tokyo Motorcycle Show at Tokyo Big Sight. Then we took some time out to visit an outlet mall. In late afternoon we have some yummy noodles. Then we saw a huge 1/1 RX-78-2 Gundam while we riding the subway. So we stop by at Diver City Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, it seems the plaza will only be opened from the 19th of April on-wards. But we still get to see the RX78 standing just behind the fences.

Fuji Tv building is one of the most striking buildings in Japan.

On 25th March which is last day at Tokyo, we going to see Mt Fuji and it’s one of our itineraries for the Tokyo trip. We run through the schedule details, they were interesting especially the bullet train! But because of our budget, we decide to travel by bus from Shinjuku station, return tickets cost 6800 yen. By the time we settle the tickets is already noon, so we had our lunch at Curry House CoCo Ichibanya.

After that journey begin, we travel to Kawaguchiko station take approximately 2 hours. Kawaguchiko town is the foot of Mt. Fuji, we can see Mt. Fuji close everywhere in this town. We took the cable car up the mountain so that we could get a good view of the lake and Mount Fuji.

A small earthquake in view point because we keep jumping for good shots. We stay at Kawaguchiko town for almost 2 hrs, then we take the bus back to Shinjuku and there’s already traffic congestion along the highway. Lucky we still reach on time, but still need to head back to hotel to take our luggage then only straight to Haneda airport. Well, that’s pretty much it for Tokyo trip, the whole trip was tired and ofcoz a lot of fun!
